Nurse Practitioner

Caring for seniors, to help them stay in their homes, is very important to me. I saw the importance of this when I was a child. My friend’s grandmother was bedridden and wheelchair bound. Everyday we would run up to her room after school and tell her about our day. Now I can see how vital it is to remain connected to the people and places we care about as we get older."

Lita earned her master’s degree in Nursing from Husson University in Bangor, ME. She is board certified in family practice by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and completed a residency in family practice.

Prior to joining InnovAge, Lita worked in several family practice offices in rural communities. She has also worked in hospitals, urgent care, an endocrinology practice, and a corrections facility. Lita recently worked at the Cibola County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue as the medical officer and a K-9 officer.
