Billing Notice: Change to our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Trading Partner

Effective July 3, 2026, we will be transitioning from Change Healthcare to Waystar as our EDI clearinghouse. This change is part of our continued efforts to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance overall service.

 Waystar will work directly with Change Healthcare to help facilitate a smooth transition. Notifications have already been sent to many trading partners; however, we want to ensure all of our contracted providers are aware of this update.

 At this time, no immediate action is required from you. If any changes or additional steps become necessary, we will communicate those details promptly.

Billing Notice: Assisted Living Facilities

TO: External Affiliate Provider- Assisted Living Facilities
DATE: 3-10-26

Assisted Living Facilities are requested to refrain from submitting claims for dates of services more than five (5) calendar days prior to the actual date the services will be provided. Billing for services significantly in advance of service dates creates administrative challenges and does not align with best practices for service-based billing.

Please review and update your billing procedures and systems to ensure compliance with this 5-calendar day submission limit.

Important: Claims received earlier than five (5) calendar days prior to the date of service may be automatically denied by our claims system.
