Billing Notice: Assisted Living Facilities

Assisted Living Facilities are requested to refrain from submitting claims for dates of services more than five (5) calendar days prior to the actual date the services will be provided. Billing for services significantly in advance of service dates creates administrative challenges and does not align with best practices for service-based billing.

Please review and update your billing procedures and systems to ensure compliance with this 5-calendar day submission limit.

Important: Claims received earlier than five (5) calendar days prior to the date of service may be automatically denied by our claims system.
