InnovAge CEO Patrick Blair Discussed Health System Partnerships With Modern Healthcare
October 05, 2026
InnovAge CEO Patrick Blair recently sat down with Modern Healthcare to discuss how partnerships with health systems can help expand access to the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and support better outcomes for older adults.
In the interview, Blair highlighted InnovAge’s partnerships with Tampa General Hospital and Orlando Health and discussed how combining the capabilities of health systems with PACE’s integrated, longitudinal model of care can benefit participants: "Health systems bring these tremendous acute, specialty and clinical capabilities. PACE brings something very different. It’s integrated. It’s longitudinal.”
Blair also discussed how closer collaboration with health systems can support more appropriate use of emergency care, improve discharge coordination and help participants return home sooner following skilled nursing stays. The conversation also covered InnovAge’s approach to growth, whether through in-center growth or acquisitions, and the use of AI and technology to help support coordinated care.
