Raquia Denson, DDS
Life is filled with challenges and triumphs. Our perspective makes the difference; I choose joy. I hope to impact others with that joy by serving those who are in the most need.
Dr. Raquia Denson earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Tuskegee University in Alabama, and her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Iowa. She recently attained a master of health administration from Louisiana State University.
Prior to joining InnovAge, Denson worked as dentist-in-charge for a community health center in Dallas. She also has experience treating older adults in nursing homes, rehab facilities, and assisted living communities. She has treated patients in the department of corrections and has owned her own private practice. Her passion is treating the underserved.
Denson was born in Gary, Indiana and has lived in Georgia, Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, Texas, Minnesota, and Colorado. She is a proud aunt to three nieces and three nephews. In her spare time, She likes to craft, travel, dance, volunteer, and cheer for her beloved Chicago Bears!
